A PATIENT´S QUALITY OF LIFE IMPROVED WITH TOTAL TEETH REPLACEMENT USING DENTAL IMPLANTS

Complete edentulous patient using Removable Dentures from 15 years back.

This is a case that we love, done to a dear friend and someone that we care about a lot.

The patient came to us with no upper or lower teeth. He had suffered all his life with bad teeth, and now he is using dentures. He is desperate to get fixed teeth.

After analyzing the different options that we had, and talking to him and explaining every aspect, he decided to do one of the best treatments there is in Dentistry now a days. We did implant guided surgery and individual implant Zirconium bridges in the upper and lower arches.

We virtually planned the placement of the implants in a specialized computer software, then we 3D printed a guide that helped us place the implants in the patient exactly in the same position we digitally planned. Once the implants were strategically placed, we did the teeth that we wanted to replace, in this case we did 3 Zirconium bridges in the upper arch and 3 bridges in the lower arch.

With this treatment, we changed this patients life and we gave him back the possibility to smile, eat and talk without the worry of his dentures getting loose or falling out. Patient and Doctors completely happy and satisfied.
